Season 5
Season 5 kicked off March 2018 with Bigbuzz’s Chief Growth Officer, Kevin Kelly sitting down at Mini of Manhattan with Mini Marketing Executive Lee Nadler. We start the discussion around engaging the power of loyal & passionate Mini community, to do good and have fun.
Season 4.5
This mini-season includes a new format with three of my favorite guests, who formed a panel I affectionately referred to as, “The Buzz Council,” discussing the intersection of culture and customer loyalty. Watch as social media guru Peter Shankman, Walt Disney World veteran Debbie Zmorenski, and cognitive anthropologist Dr. Bob Deutsch expound upon the mysteries of why people become brand evangelists and what causes others to break away from brands they used to love.
Season 4
In season four we introduced the snackable “three minute buzz” format and talked to more great leaders and innovators in the world of advertising and marketing, including: Alex Bogusky (formerly with CP+B), Amir Kassaei of Doyle Dane Bernbach, Jon Castle of Nissan United/TBWA Chiat Day, Leo Premutico of Johannes Leonardo, and Terry Young of Sparks & Honey.
Season 3
In season three we journeyed to the brand side with the infamous King of Customer Service, Tony Hsieh of Zappos, to talk about using customer service as a powerful marketing tool. We also spent some time with the faster-than-normal social media guru, Peter Shankman. We checked in with some buzzbubble favorites; Alex Bogusky, who discussed his uncommon “Common” journey, and George Lois who talked about his new book, “Damn Good Advice.” We also sat down at the Brooklyn Bowl to discuss consumer behavior with cognitive anthropologist Dr. Bob Deutsch, and chatted with the Great Jimmy Smith about launching his own agency, Amusement Park. We rounded out the season [...]
Season 2
Season two kicked off with Alex Bogusky in his first video interview after leaving MDC Partners and opening up his Fearless Cottage. He talks about why he left CP+B and that moment when “he felt his mouth disconnect from his soul,” and knew it was time to leave the ad biz. We also spent some time with R/GA’s Chief Creative Officer, Nick Law, and Digital Executive Creative Director, Perry Fair, who walked us through some great digital campaigns, as well as the halls of Grey Advertising. Goodby’s Rich Silverstein, CP+B’s Chuck Porter, and Deutsch LA’s Mike Sheldon also climbed into the buzzbubble to discuss groundbreaking, innovative creative advertising.
Season 1
The premier episode began in Colorado at CP+B chatting in Alex Bogusky’s office about Mini Cooper, Burger King, and more, only months before he would leave the advertising business all together. R/GA’s Barry Wacksman talked with buzzbubble host, bigbuzz President, Kevin Kelly, about thinking and creating not in the frameworks of campaigns, but in platforms that consumers can integrate into their lives. TBWA\CHIAT\DAY’s Rob Schwartz gave us a tour of the agency’s one-of-a-kind L.A. offices, now featured in the HBO show “Silicon Valley” as the offices of Hooli, and talked about how he got his start, only months before taking the place of legendary Lee Clow as Chief Creative Officer [...]
